Christmas is Calling

…i’d take another chance, take a fall, take a shot for you

Every year without fail, as December comes around, I make my Christmas wish list. This list is usually filled with shoes that have caught my eyes or dresses I’ve been dying to wear. Here’s my list for this year.

1.
2.
3.
4.
5.

This year, I wish for nothing more. The past year has been more than shakey for me, but in the past 2 months, i’ve come to realise, that despite the ups and downs, I have so much to be thankful for. I’ve found a sister in Natalia, a more than best friend in Daphne, peace in seeing my parents smiling again and happiness in realising that I’m still loved. If that doesn’t seem like a Christmas miracle, I don’t know what else is. It took almost an entire year to get here. To piece things back together. A very rough, confusing year. But if that is how long it had to take for me to feel perfection of this sort, I’d say it was worth the wait.

So this year I wish for nothing more.
For I already have everything I could have ever wished for.

…and I need you like a heart needs a beat, but that’s nothing new
