I wanted to get online this morning to blog about last night, but by now I can’t even remember what I really wanted to blog about. So the kacauness right?!
So anyways, was in SS last night with Eric, Kalvin and Boon Kean (i think that’s how it’s spelt). It was their last night in Penang so I was good enough to drive all the way there, get them then take them clubbing. Although I don’t really think that being in a club on a Monday night counts as clubbing. Does it? And guess what? Halfway through the night, as I was at the bathroom talking on the phone, the electricity went off!!! It was such a WTF moment!!! The bathroom area is on the inside of the building, cutting it off COMPLETELY from any source of light. So I had to agak-agak and figure my way out. Thank heavens I’m at that place so often that I practically know it by heart. After about 5-10 minutes the electricity went back on and everything was fine again. Gosh, I’d think that a club would have like it’s own back up generator or something. Quoting the person I was on the phone with, “ONLY IN PENANG“! Hahaha. I guess that’s kinda true. But I don’t care. I’m still going back there. And no, I don’t need you to tell me that I’ve been clubbing too much. I already know that myself.
So much for my NOclubbing.NOsmoking.NOdrinking.
I guess that’ll have to wait for next year. Again.
Chinese New Year is coming soon.
Okay, yes. I know you get the sarcasm. I’m not really too fond of the celebration. Not that I’ve got any complains about collecting angpaus and the yummy food. Hell no. But it’s just not my most favourite celebration ya’know. Thanks to my very very chino relatives who are either totally materialistic or completely rude. And some are gifted enough to have both qualities. CNY is comes around only once a year, you’d think that they’d be able to hold it back and shut up for those 2 days. But NO. The amount of blabbering and complaining and boasting. Gah. Sorry, I’m just not a fan of the Chinese culture.
Now I’m really not looking forward to this Sunday.
Well, at least I’ll get to see my cousins.
